Dr. Edward T. Rancic Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2000 with a generous gift from family, friends, and associates who wish to honor the memory of long-time Lewis Professor Edward T. Rancic.

CRITERIA:
1. Applicant must have full admission status in the College of Education as a school administrator candidate.
2. Applicant must show potential for scholarship and leadership in the spirit of Dr. Edward T. Rancic, as evidenced by a brief essay commenting on the candidate’s vision of effective leadership.
3. Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation, consisting of one from a Lewis employee (preferable not on the selection committee) and the other from and outside source.
4. Applicant must submit a current resume including full work history.
5. Applicant must have outstanding academic accomplishments.
6. Applicant must demonstrate a genuine financial need determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
7. The Dean of the School of Education will select a steering committee and in collaboration with the VP for University of Advancement and Mrs. Gail Rancic and family, will recommend a recipient to Financial Aid.
