William B. Orenic Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship honors the lifetime of charitable, educational, religious and philanthropic
activities of the late William B. Orenic. “Buck” Orenic was a Lewis alum and long-time school administrator and board member in Troy School District 30-C, who died in 2005.

CRITERIA:
1. Recipient is to be an elementary education, secondary education, or special education major
2. Recipient must be an undergraduate student
3. Will County residents preferred
4. must have a 3.25 GPA or higher and financial need
5. Must submit a 300-500 word essay answering the question why teach?
