Father John F. Brennan Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1989 by Tony Benacka, ‘53, one of Father Brennan’s former students and good friends and other gifts form Father Brennan himself, other friends and former students. Father John Brennan, teacher and administrator at Lewis from 1947 to 1960 dedicated a great portion of his time and effort to counseling and encouraging young men and women in their pursuit of a quality college education. He was intelligent, compassionate, but demanding mentor, interested in the students as a whole.
