The Captain Gordon Nelson Aviation Scholarship

The Captain Gordon Nelson Aviation Scholarship was established by Captain Nelson to provide an annual scholarship which will be applied toward the recipient’s flight training. The scholarship recipient will meet the following criteria:

1. Must be a full-time student at the Junior or Senior level, as defined by the University;
2. Must demonstrate a financial need, as determined by the Lewis office of financial aid;
3. Must be pursuing a degree in the Department of Aviation, College of Arts & Sciences;
4. Must also be pursuing a commercial pilot license;
5. Must be in good academic standing as defined by Lewis University.
