The Washington Square Health Foundation was established in 1991 with a generous gift.

This scholarship honors the lifetime of charitable, educational, religious and philanthropic activities of the late William B. Orenic. “Buck” Orenic was a Lewis alum and long-time school administrator and board member in Troy School District 30-C, who died in 2005.

This annual scholarship is intended to support a graduate of the San Miguel Schools of Chicago with demonstrated financial need.

This scholarship was established in 1995 with a generous gift from the Christopher Zorich Foundation and various individual donors.
